Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha on January 28 for the second time this month, where he will inaugurate the much-anticipated Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave 2025. His previous visit was for the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Sammelan on January 9.

Official sources indicate that the Prime Minister will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 10:35 AM and head to Janata Maidan, where he will formally inaugurate the two-day conclave at 11 AM. During his approximately 90-minute stay, he will address a gathering of industrialists and investors before departing for Dehradun.

Scheduled for January 28 and 29, the conclave will include plenary sessions, sector-focused discussions, and networking opportunities with global industry leaders, policymakers, and investors. The event aims to attract both domestic and international investments across various sectors, establishing Odisha as the industrial hub of Eastern India.

This flagship event will highlight the state’s industrial strengths and growth prospects, reinforcing its position on the global economic stage and fostering sustainable partnerships. Notably, Singapore’s President Tharman Shanmugaratnam visited Odisha recently, as Singapore is the first country partner for the Make in Odisha initiative. The Odisha government has signed key MoUs with Singaporean firms to enhance foreign investment and economic development in the region.
