Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: A day before the DG-IG conference in Bhubaneswar, Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun released a threatening video message, vowing to disrupt the event. The conference, scheduled to be held from November 29 to December 1 at Lok Seva Bhawan, will see the attendance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and numerous top security officials.

In his message, Pannun, who leads the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) group, challenged Modi, Shah, and Doval to visit Ram Mandir in Bhubaneswar and called on his supporters to disguise themselves and gather at temples and hotels to thwart the conference. He accused the officials attending the event of orchestrating violence against pro-Khalistan Sikhs and other groups, labeling them as part of a “terror city” rather than the “city of temples.”

In response to the threats, Odisha DGP Y B Khurania assured that extensive security measures are in place. “We are on high alert and have implemented foolproof security arrangements for the safe conduct of the three-day conference,” he stated.
