Bhubaneswar, Feb 28: A female doctor was found dead at her residence in Daraghabazar, Cuttack, on Friday, sending shockwaves across the community. The deceased has been identified as Alaka Rath.
According to sources, Dr. Rath had been living with her family and was reportedly suffering from mental distress for a long time. On Friday morning, her family members discovered her hanging and immediately alerted the police.
Upon receiving the information, officers from the Daraghabazar police station rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation into the incident. The police recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
