Complaint filed against father and son for exploiting in the name of religion in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Nov 16: A police complaint has been lodged against Kashinath Mishra and his son for allegedly misleading and exploiting people under the guise of religion in Bhubaneswar. The FIR, filed by a social organization at Bharatpur Police Station, accuses Kashinath of promoting his son as ‘Kalki Bhagwan’ and encouraging people to worship him.

The complaint further alleges that Kashinath has been using unethical methods to manipulate people’s religious beliefs and extort money from them. It is claimed that the father-son duo charged for various services, including education, employment, health issues, and family problems.

The organization also accused them of disrespecting religious symbols and traditions, citing a controversial image of Holy Tulsi placed near the feet of Kashinath’s son, which has gone viral on social media.

A representative from Rajya Samajsevi Mahasangha stated that the duo has been giving religious sermons to mislead and exploit the public. Sources reveal that Kashinath’s son, now around 18 years old, is currently studying.
